Animal Handling is currently obtained from an altar just outside the graveyard, in the south/west of Serbule (during alpha, later it will available through a quest).

Animal Handlers spend a ton of time with their pets, raising and training them. Ancillary skills like Animal Husbandry let them breed pets to get the best genes for fighting (and best colors and appearances!). Animal Handlers have a lot of versatility because they can summon different pets for different problems, but they have to spend a lot of time out of combat raising these pets. (Hopefully this is a fun activity for them, though! It’s aimed at people who think raising and breeding virtual animals sounds fun.)

You will need to know how to charm an animal to get started (players can learn how to charm rats on Anagoge Island). When you have a charmed animal with you, use Tame Pet to make it a permanent pet.

You can have as many pets as you have stable slots. You can buy more stable slots in town.

If your pet dies, you can either try to resuscitate it in the field, or head back to the stable to revive it for a small fee.

There's a lot more to it, and a lot more to come.

Pets Stats
Gathered from chat (needs tidying up):
* At skill 50 Hissy (It's combat level is 55 even if the current max level of animal handling is 50) has 582 Armor, 916 health, and a Rage meter of 1077.
* At skill 50 Old Fangsworth has 279 Armor, 906 health, and a Rage Meter of 739. Its attacks deal 57 and 60 slashing damage to an unarmored opponent at about a 2 second reuse, with its rage attack dealing 80 slashing damage.
* At skill 50 the Razorslash Panther has 200 Armor and 706 Health
* At skill 50 the Fey Panther Groupie has 200 Armor and 800 Health
* At skill 50 the Giant Rat has 200 Armor and 306 Health (Same with Giant Plains Rat)
* At skill 50 the Sewer Rat has 279 Armor and 506 Health

Stables
Stables are accessed by speaking with Stable NPCs. These NPCs let you purchase additional Stable Slots, rename your pets, level up your pets, release unwanted pets, and most importantly, revive them if they fall in battle.

; Stable Locations
: Gisli in Serbule Keep
: A "Temporary Stable NPC" in Hogan's Keep

So I heard you want to train more than Rats... How about a cat? (Level 20)
Once you reach Level 20 Animal Handling, you can begin to charm Cat mobs. Unlike rats, charmed cats only stick around for a few minutes, so tame them quickly!

Resting among the Fey Panther and Bear Groupiepopulation in Southwest Eltibule, a sacrificial altar may be found which will enable those qualified to unlock the knowledge to Charm & Tame a cat.

The shrine will present you with a riddle, and ask for an item to be sacrificed.

<spoiler show="Click to see the item required for the Cat Shrine">
The answer is "String." This item is also known as "Ball of String" and can be obtained through either Textile Creation or purchased from Ukorga in the Kur Mountains. A Prodigy who thinks ahead might obtain more than one "Ball of String" for use with the newly acquired skill.
</spoiler>

Anchor Runes
Prodigies well versed in Animal Handling may learn the Unnatural Wrath abilities. From Gisli in Serbule Keep These abilities require an Anchor Rune to be used.

Shadowy deer formed Constructs such as the Misery Yak are the only source of this item at this time.

__NOTOC__
Dungeons are where quests take place, bosses reside, and high level gear is obtained from. Dungeons are generally harder than most other content in the game and provide some of the best rewards.

No Instancing
As of the alpha dungeons are not instanced which really sets apart this game from current "modern" MMOs. Whether you are soloing or teaming up with fellow players, the experience is of one shared world which creates stronger social interactions between players.

Looting
Loot on all enemies (except Elites) is also not instanced, meaning once somebody loots a corpse the loot is gone. This can cause a little grief sometimes but keep in mind the loot is plentiful and enemies respawn very quickly!

Consider not burying corpses in dungeons. In theory leaving corpses behind should make them respawn a little slower, which can help when soloing. In a group, please remember that burying a corpse gets rid of the loot. If you don't want loot on a corpse, leave it so another player may loot it.

Trains
Veteran MMO players will remember the infamous trains from classic MMO EverQuest. A "train" happens when a player flees danger in a dungeon, and the enemies chasing the player come in sight of other unsuspecting players who are then attacked. This problem is fairly minimal at present in Project: Gorgon because the enemies don't pursue very far, but be aware that the mechanics allow for it. Don't be angry at other players! It is simply the mechanics of the game, and it could be argued it makes things a little more... interesting. As there is no experience penalty and also no loss of levels in the game (so far), a train will at worst cause your character to respawn in the entrance of the dungeon.

Dungeon Progression
A list of dungeons currently implemented, in rough order of progression. Keep in mind difficulty varies depending if you play a AOE build, if you are soloing or grouped, what skills and type of damage you use, etc.
Mycology is a skill that is raised by gathering mushrooms. It gives access to a variety of recipes for the creation of Spore Bombs, Potions. Mushrooms are also useful in Cooking and Alchemy recipes.

Mycology is first learned on Anagoge Island by picking mushrooms or piles of dirt off of the ground. The first recipe, Parasol Mushroom Flakes, is learned in the crypt area. The crypt is 50 meters northeast of the southwest corner of the island, through a door which says "Students: KEEP OUT".

Upon entering the crypt, players turn right to find a room with a Records Golem. A piece of paper on the floor is addressed to Proctor Elmetaph, and if the player chooses to study the details they can learn the recipe for a Spore Bomb.

The Spore Bomb is one way to <spoiler>Defeat the training dummy</spoiler>

Recipes can be bought from Mushroom Jack in Serbule town, and Voo in the Myconian Cave.

How to Learn
Mycology is usually acquired early on in the Tutorial Cave by gathering a patch of Parasol Mushrooms. The skill continues to raise afterwards as you gather various kinds of mushrooms. New players will likely encounter higher tiers of Mushrooms first in the town of Serbule. There are a few patches around the barn which will require higher skill level.

__NOTOC__

Augmentation is the general term for 4 different skills that allow you to augment items with specific treasure effects. They're divided into 4 categories: Jewelry, Ancillary Armor, Armor and Weapon augments. To learn how to apply augments, speak to Nightshade.

Augmentation is accurately described by many players as "complicated". Nightshade will send the player to check on all four of his associates: Poe, Malgath, Syndra, and Gribburn. The player can then return to Nightshade to learn weapon augmentation, which will open the ability to train some abilities. The player will also have to travel back to Poe, Malgath, Syndra, or Gribburn in order to learn individual types of augmentation as they level up. Each of these sub-trainers has their own challenges such as having to use violence to reach their locations (i.e. Malgath, Poe), learning Goblinese and gaining favor with Hogan(e.g. Gribburn, and carrying wood for the campfire so Syndra is warm enough to talk to the player.

Using Weapon Augmentation as an example, a player would have to first travel to Malgath and gain his favor in order to train the first level skill called "Decompose Main Hand Weapon". This skill will allow the player to take any enchanted (green or above) main hand weapon and break it down into "beads". The level and rarity of the weapon determine how many beads the player receives, between approximately 1 and 30 beads given out. Decomposition also rarely results in the creation of a Prism, which are reagents used in Transmutation.

Sometime during the first 10 levels of Weapon Augmentation, the player learns to extract effects from weapons, and then apply them to other weapons. Extracting a specific effect costs beads. According to the crafting menu, it can cost up to one bead per level of the effect(e.g. a staff that requires level 60 fire magic would cost up to 60 beads for a successful extraction of a fire magic effect).

Extracting a specific effect requires a "crystal" as well, and the player is unable to continue without using a crystal in the crafting menu. Putting the wrong type of crystal(e.g. using a redwall crystal because they're more readily available) will result in the item and crystal being destroyed, and the player will receive a message stating that they used the wrong type of crystal.

Using the right type of crystal requires matching up a specific gem's primary and/or secondary effect with the effect of the item. These effects are notated on the gems page.

For instance, to extract a psychology effect from a sword that requires psychology, the player would use tourmaline as the crystal. The weapon and crystal are both destroyed, but it may result in the creation of an augment oil if the player's skill is high enough. Even if the weapon and crystal are destroyed, the player still receives Weapon Augmentation experience.

Assuming everything went right in this example, the player may now have an oil such as Weapon Augment Oil Cruel Dialog L50 which can be applied to a different weapon.

Gardening is a trade skill that allows to grow plants: fruits, flowers, vegetables. The plants can be used in other trade skills and sometimes as quest objectives (ie. collect flowers).

Basic plants usually require a Bottle of Water to be grown, while higher level ones require a Bottle of Fertilizer.

Seeds can be bought from NPCs such as Therese, and often drops from creatures (for example Panthers in Eltibule).

To plant a seed simply right-click the seeds in your inventory. You must be in a gardening area.
* It is not necessary to buy a Bottle of Water from Therese after the initial investment. Full bottles cost 100 gold, but refilling bottles at the well in the middle of Serbule town is free.
* You can only plant 2 seeds of every Vegetable, 3 of any combination of Flowers, and 5 Cotton in total.
Tyler Green used to be a shield-bearer, before he was placed in the Prison Cave.

Location
; Eltibule
: When the tutorial cave ceased to exist, Tyler Green took the opportunity to relocate to Hogan's Keep in Eltibule.

Quests
* The Battered Shield : Tyler repairs the Battered Shield and returns it to you. He also teaches how to repair armor (although by the time you have returned to the cave and defeated the Megaspider chances are you've already learned to use Simple Armor Patch Kits). He also hints that he could teach you to fight with a shield. Giving Tyler back the Battered Shield (the 'legacy' version) earns a good chunk of favor.
* Oranges (50 favor): Tyler wants oranges to cure his scurvy!
* Give Lawara Confidence [Comfortable] (50 favor): Tyler wants you to go talk to Lawara, an elf in the same cave.
: Teaches Shield.
Adventurer! I knew you'd arrive here! Old Elmetaph is wonderfully predictable.

; Do I know you?
Why, Adventurer, you don't remember me at all? Those Katuri really did rip out all your memories, didn't they? I'm sorry for your loss. And mine! We used to be very close!
; Who are you?
I was your mentor, training you from childhood. You long ago surpassed my skill, of course... but now, I suppose I will have to mentor you again.
; What did you mentor me in?
Demon-hunting. Oh, the adventures we've had! But I suppose that's all gone forever. Fear not, fear not! You can have new adventures!

; What's a Katuri?
They're demons. And you are -- well, you WERE -- a demon hunter. You chased them all the way to this miserable place, thousands of miles from your home, only to finally lose a battle. But they didn't just kill you. Oh no... that would have been too nice!
; Wait, I'm a demon hunter?
Only one of the very best. You worked for the Council, taking out problems that were too difficult for them to handle through regular channels. But I guess this time you bit off more than you could chew.
; Why did these Katuri spare me, then?/ Why am I still alive, then?
The Katuri corrupted you after you fell. I followed you across the ocean and watched your battle from a safe distance. When I saw you fall, I cried for days. But then I heard your faint mental echo, crying for my help! I raced to find you...
; And you found me?
I did. I snuck into the Katuri camp and saw them torturing you. I tried to rescue you, but when you spotted me, you ordered me to leave and save myself. That hurt, Prodigy. That hurt a lot. But I obeyed you. I've always been loyal to a fault.
;Why did they torture me?
Demons are creatures of malice. Don't you remember that much? They perverted and twisted your memories, making you into a being of pure hate. Then they set you loose upon the world to destroy everything you once held dear! I had to stop you.
;And you stopped me?
With help from my friends, yes. But your mind was too far gone. We had to use the ancient cleansing ritual. I'm sorry, Prodigy... the truth is, though the Katuri are to blame, I'm the one who erased your mind. I had to do it! Do you forgive me?
;I understand.
Oh, thank you! It means so much to hear that! But now, my friend, you have a long road ahead. You'll need to re-learn what you need to know. And I can't teach you directly this time.
;Why can't you teach me?
Because I'm not really here, dear. I'm talking to you through a projected illusion. I'm in a distant land, trying to take care of some very delicate matters.

I need you to take care of some delicate matters as well. There's a very dangerous man you need to find.

;Couldn't you come here and join me?
Council territory is very dangerous for hags. The wizards of the council teach hatred for my kind. You were able to see past their lies, but most aren't as wise as you.
;Ah. Well, who's this dangerous man you care about?
It's Davlos!

Oh, I forgot you lost your memories. Davlos was a professor at the secret council university. I'm sure you had classes under him. He disappeared when the university closed. But I think he's nearby!
;Why do I care about Davlos?
Because... oh, Adventurer, this is so difficult to explain. You'll just have to trust me: your old self would have cared.

;I'm not my old self anymore. My new self doesn't care.
Then let me make it clearer for you. Davlos is the reason your country is battling demons.
;Hmm... I still don't care.
I can't make you do anything, Adventurer. But I know you better than you know yourself right now. And if you ignore this opportunity to catch Davlos, you'll regret it.
;Hm. Okay, let me think about it.
Davlos is responsible for an invading army of demons. He must know a way to stop them. Make him tell you!
;Okay. Where is Davlos?
There's two clues that suggest he's near you. First, his red crystals have been mysteriously appearing. Second, one of his old creations has been spotted in the woods: A species of brains on legs.
;Brains on legs? Are they super smart?
No, they're very stupid. I always assumed they were a failed creation. But now hundreds of them are pouring out of the woods north of here. They are appearing faster than they could breed, so he must be making them.
;Couldn't someone else be making them?
It's him. very few other people have the skill and the lack of foresight to create new species.
;Okay. So where do I start?
I've seen an elf studying one of the big red crystals near here. She probably lives in the walled town. For the brain monsters, head north and see if you can find someone with more information.
(Yurra gives the quest Brain Bug Infestation and vanishes)
;What do you expect me to do about Davlos?

; I can't forgive you
Oh! My poor old heart breaks! You villain, Prodigy! But I understand. I... I forgive you. You can't understand yet. But you will. You'll go out into the world and you'll discover what you need to know.
}}

{{Quote|source=Yurra's Note|icon=book|
The Katuri took your gear, so I scrounged up some armor for you. Maybe you already have better items, but check and see.

You should head to town soon and buy a magic belt. It's a crucial piece of adventuring gear! I would have bought you one, but I don't know what style you like.

When you're feeling competent with a weapon again, look into the mystery of the giant red crystal nearby. I'm sure some villager can help you.

Good luck, dear, and remember: I've always believed in you!

You'll be back in fighting form in no time!

Murrpau:

Elmetaph is located in the lighthouse on top of one of the hills on Anagoge Island. He is the former Proctor of some kind of academy that made use of the island previously to "test" their students.

Elmetaph will teach players teleportation so that they can escape from the island. He also has a habit of mispronouncing the player's name, implying a familiar but not-too-familiar recollection, as if the player was once a student.

Elmetaph's quest:
<spoiler>First, Elmetaph will teach the player "The secrets of teleportation" if they have amethysts in their possession. The amethysts can be found in several different places, but once a player picks up amethysts, new spawns are no longer available to that player. So far, amethysts have been found in bags near the teleportation circles, both the broken one on the north shore and the functional one on the south shore.

Next, Elmetaph will direct the player to cast "bind circle" on the teleportation circle, which is the one on the southern beach of the island.

After casting bind circle, the player will return to Elmetaph, who is shocked that the player's soul is now bound to the island. He offers the player the chance to change their bind location, but only if they give him the coordinates found on the four obelisks.

After giving Elmetaph the correct coordinates, the player can now use "recall circle" to exit the island.</spoiler>

Coordinates:
<spoiler>6918</spoiler>

Dialogue
I remember you! (Player's name, garbled), right? Come back to tour the old grounds? Well, the island's not in good shape anymore. I don't think you'll enjoy your visit.

* You know me?

'Course I do! I never forget a face. You were younger back then. But I guess that's how time works. Anyway, if you came for a visit, I'm afraid there's not much left.

* I don't remember any of this. My memories are gone!

Aw, another person got mind-wiped? Those damned hags have dumped a dozen or so here in the past year. No idea why!

Most of 'em got killed within an hour or so of arriving. But then, they weren't old students of mine. You remember any of my lessons?

* No, I don't remember you or anything about this place, I'm afraid.

Well, shit. Then you're not going to survive long here. The place is overrun with creepy crawlies now, since no students come for their battle tests anymore.

* Students used to come here?

Well it's a state secret, but you used to have authorization, so I guess you still do, technically...

There as a school for ... gifted people, a while back. Run by the Council. They were looking for the best and brightest to become master warriors, battle-mages, thaumaturges, and ultra heroic blah blah blah.

This island was part of their final exam. Students had to show competence in a bunch of different skills here. Only a few graduated, and some were killed here. It's a dangerous place.

I wonder if you passed your final exam? Heh, I guess it doesn't matter now.

* So that school is gone now?

Yep. Been gone for years. They shut everything down in a hurry one day. I don't know why.

When the school closed I moved here because... well, that's my own damn business.

*I have another question.

Sure, (garbled version of players name), what else is on your mind?

* Is there a way off this island?

Well, you could swim, hehe... no, don't look hopeful, that was a joke! The sea's full of horrible beats. An elven friend comes to visit me every year or so. You could get a ride back with her. Shouldn't be more than six or eight months wait.

*That's too long. Is there any other way?
If you still had your magic training, you could teleport, I suppose...

*Can you teach me how to teleport?

You were a fast learner before, so I guess I could try to teach you again. But it took you weeks to master it, and that's after you'd been studying the basics of magic for quite awhile. Hopefully some remnant of that training is still in your head somewhere. We can give it a shot and see...

*Great! How do we begin?

Well, first you'll need an amethyst as a catalyst. And I'm fresh out of gems.

(the rest of this feeds into the quest)

Hmph. Another one.
* Who are you?

I've decided to call myself Lawara. I don't know my real name. They ripped my bran clean a few years ago.

* Well, that sucks.
Yeah. They say I was some sort of military leader. That seems ridiculous though.

* Why not?

Because I don't remember my name or family or anything. What would I do? At least here I have oats. If I leave I might starve!

It's better to stay here. At least for now.

* The rest of the world has got to be better than here!

They told me I was a general in a war. Was I on the winning side?

If I leave, they might lock me up for crimes I don't even remember. Who knows what could happen?

I'll just stay here for now. Maybe I can trigger some more memories somehow. Hey, if you find out anything about me, can you come tell me?

* How do I get into that chest over there?

All I know is what a crone told me. I think she was trying to motivate me. She said she'd put the key to my chest inside a training dummy.

* That's odd.

Well there's a training dummy over on the other side of the island. But it's magic and can't be damaged. So I guess destroying it is some kind of puzzle.

* Any idea how to destroy the training dummy?

[Lawara shrugs] Arrows don't work. Swords don't work. Punching it doesnt' work. So I guess you'll need to find a different way to damage it.

* Is there anything I can do for you?

I guess if you learn anything about me when you leave the island, can you come tell me?"

* Nice Island you've got here.

I suppose. I've been planning to leave soon, though. I'm sick of seafood and the only other thing I can find is barrels of old oats. I'm almost ready to go... now I just have to psych myself up for it.
Riger is an NPC encountered on Anagoge Island.

Quests
* Cheering Up Riger : find the Pick-Me-Up Juice recipe from an Alchemy book in the lighthouse. The components of the juice are all available either as drops, in chests, or groundspawns around the island of Anagoge. Use the cauldron icon on the right side of the screen to access recipes. Give the juice to Riger and he will cheer up and allow you to read his book (which teaches the Psychology Skill).

Dialogue
Oh. So you're the corpse they tossed on the beach. I guess you weren't dead. Well, welcome to hell island. There's no way off this island and you'll soon die like the others.

* Who are you?

I think my name is Riger. That's what a crone called me once. They stole my memories. Ripped them from my head! My skills, too! I mean, I can barely read now. I have to assume I knew a lot of things, but now... nothing. Do you know who you are?

* It's all hazy...

The crones called you (player's name) when they tossed you here. One of them said you might be a Prodigy, but ... well, a Prodigy wouldn't be here with their mind blanked, would they?

* What's a Prodigy?

Wow, your mind-wipe went deep, didn't it? Poor bastard. A Prodigy is someone born with one of the four gifts. Things like super learning or amazing physical strength. Don't worry about it... you aren't one.

* Will my memories come back?

No, they stole them out of your head, same as mine. They'll never come back. We're going to be like this forever: Stupid and ignorant in a hut.

* It's a nice hut.

Oh, this old thing? Well, the bed is mine. You can sleep on the porch. The skeletons don't come up here, so you'll be safe.

* You mentioned some crones. Who are they?

They're just some crones that come by every month or two They leave a few bodies in the sand. Sometimes they leave us food or supplies, but not very often.

* What's a crone?

They're a race of people, like elves or humans, but uglier. They stink pretty badly and like to cackle. That's all I know.

* Why do they bring people here?

No idea. I mean, if they wanted to kill people, they'd just throw them into the sea. but they carefully row ashore and then dump people on the beach.

* Is that how you got here?

Yeah, I guess so. It was a while ago.

* When will they return again?

A month, maybe.

* Damn, that's too long! There has to be a way off this island!

Sure, just swim to Serbule. It's only a few miles.

Wait, you look optimistic. That was a joke! You can't swim to Serbule. If the extreme currents didn't kill you, the devil sharks would. No, you're stuck here.

* I really want to escape.

Suit yourself, tiger.

* Is there anything I can do for you?

I don't know. I mean, I don't even want to escape, you know? It doesn't matter anymore. I think I'm seriously depressed. But I can't figure out a fix. I wish I could feel some hope again.

* Heavy. Well, I'll see what I can do.

(Asking this question gives the quest Cheer Up Riger, which can be solved by giving him some Pick Me Up Juice)
Transmutation is a skill learned from Makara. Through the use of strange phlogistons, it allows you to re-roll a power on a piece of gear. Doing so will attune the item to you and reduce its durability. But don't worry! You can sacrifice prisms to restore durability.
Makara is located slightly off of the default map in Ilmari desert.

The first recipe is learned in the crypt area.

In order to learn Charm Rat while on Anagoge Island, the player must solve the "pedastals" puzzle on the eastern shore of Anagoge Island, then open the chest in the middle of the pedestals. This will award the player with the Charm Rat scroll.

<spoiler> a clue is given on a note in a shack on the island, referring to the word "SEWN". This means that if the first pedestal is "South", then the next one clicked should be in the "east" position, then the "west" position, and finally the "north" position.</spoiler>

THIS INFORMATION IS NOW DEFUNCT. The tutorial has been relocated to the newly-created Anagoge Island, but many quests are similar. All of the NPCs except for Tyler Green and the Megaspider have been relocated to the new island.
Tyler Green can now be found at Hogan's Keep. The Megaspider's whereabouts are unknown at this time, but it may very well be located in the Serbule Crypt.

----
The following information is for archive purposes only:

----

The Tutorial Cave is where you begin your adventure! Note that you can go back to the Tutorial Cave at any point later, and in fact you will have to do so if you'd like to take on the higher level enemies in the hidden section of the cave. You may also want to go back to gain favor with Tyler Green.

Thus, if you feel like it, don't be afraid of running through to the exit. There are many low level foes such as Wolves, Spiders, Pigs and so on just outside the cave, and the view is much nicer!

When to leave the cave?
If you are unsure, here is a checklist of "must haves" before leaving the cave:

* Drink from the porridge bucket in the room where you first appear in, to get level 1 in Gourmand.
* Obtain the Charm Rat ability. This is a fun ability that will help you for some time.

Points of Interest
Porridge Bucket (1)
In the very starting area, be sure to drink from the bucket. You will get your first level of theGourmand skill and a very potent regeneration effect that will help you with the foes ahead.

Pedestal Puzzle (2)
As this could be considered a spoiler, follow through Strange Chest/Pedestal Puzzle.

Red Wall (3)
As this could be considered a spoiler, follow through Red Wall.

The Exit Portal (4)
This area contains a portal which will send you into Serbule. New players should follow the path they arrive on to the town of Serbule Keep.

The Megaspider (5)
The Megaspider found here is a strong foe that easily decimates new players. The room past him often spawns spoons, plates, goblets, and sometimes even a shield.

Tyler Green (6)
Tyler Green is found in this part of the cave. After gaining his friendship, Tyler will teach the Shield skill.

Gajus the Big-Headed (7)
Gajus is a Gorgon abandoned in the Tutorial Cave by Dalvos. She curses players with an abnormally large head if they challenge her and lose.

Before you reach Gajus's room, you encounter a room with a small tree growing on a pedestal. It seems to be snowing on the tree. This room is a result of Dalvos experimenting with the Naturesphere.
Upon arriving to Anagoge Island players will start on the beach with nothing but the clothes on their back. This is the starting area where you will learn basic skills, and eventually teleport to Serbule. The dungeon on this island contains Gajus the Big-Headed.

Anagoge Island replaces the Tutorial Cave

In order to escape the island, players must learn teleportation from Elmetaph. Players must then cast the spell "Bind Circle" on the teleport circle on the southern side of the island, then return to Elmetaph for further guidance. Elmetaph will then ask the player to find the coordinates for a new teleportation bind, by looking up the four obelisks on the island. <spoiler> The code works out to: 6918</spoiler>
Teleportation is taught by Elmetaph on Anagoge Island, the tutorial area which placed the previous Tutorial Cave. It is possible to acquire the necessary amethyst gems on the island by searching through items on the ground, especially bags near the teleporation circle on the south side of the island (and the broken teleportation circle on the north side of the island).

Teleportation can also be learned through the book Teleportation for Beginners, which is sold by the fairies Flia and Jesina.
A winding set of pathways and stairs filled with many dangerous and strange creatures. The first floor is filled with Rakshasa, while the second has more, well, unusual enemies. At the end, adventurers will find the Labyrinth...a fearsome beast dwells within.

The entrance to the labyrinth is on the east edge of the map, about 1/4 of the way down from the northeast corner. Look for an abandoned village full of Rakkies. A boarded-up basement in the corner of the village is the entrance.
