Kalaba is a Rakshasa Blacksmith from the city of Povus. He is not particularly fond of dealing with unfamiliar faces, and will not offer merchant related services to anyone who has not proved themselves worthy of his sturdy equipment. Once a few favors are completed (Kill Panthers and Kill Fey Panthers), the services he offers will open. Kalbala will be willing to purchase weapons and armor, and begins selling armor. The prices he offers are generally better than what Yetta will pay for the same item. He will also offer a conversation to teach Transmutation at this time.

Kalaba sells a set of "sturdy" weapons and armor, which appears to be between "basic" available from Joeh, and "quality" available from Helena Veilmoor.
