The art of collecting fish.

Fishing Overview

Fishing is a skill that increases as you collect fish from lakes and rivers outdoors.

Except for ice fishing, there is no fishing pole item required, nor animation. Simply swim up to a fish and pick them up!

The fish and other aquatic creatures collected with this skill are used in cooking, alchemy and other trade skills.

Training Fishing

  • Ukorga teaches the recipes for ice fishing.
  • Rugen unlocks levels 51-60.

Connected Skills

  • Cooking - The fish caught through fishing can be used in cooking recipes.
  • Sushi Preparation - The fish caught through fishing can be used in Sushi recipes.

Each time you catch a fish and clear the node it can respawn as another type of fish/crab. So it is best to fish everything.

Ice Fishing

Ice fishing recipes can be trained from Ukorga in Kur Northwest outpost with high enough Favor. Higher level bait traps yield more fish and higher level fish like shark and eel. May also depend on the location of the fishing hole.
