Expertise with swords, rapiers, and the like. Swords are very damaging, and can reduce an opponent's Rage.

Sword is a combat skill that is received very early in the tutorial, after looting the body of a dead elf.

Overview

Sword skills have the following mechanics:

  • Means of controlling the enemy's Rage (Parry)
  • Damage over time to armor

Advanced

Goblin Merchants in Hogan's Keep
Decapitate (requires a lot of favor with Hogan)
Heartpiercer (requires a lot of favor with Hogan)
Nelson Ballard in Serbule Keep
Precision Pierce 1-4 [Comfortable and higher] : A Sword Ability that replaces Parry.
Flashing Strike 1-3 [Comfortable and higher] : A Sword Ability that deals [25/60/100] extra damage to undead.
Goblin Dungeon level 2
Decapitate Level 1-2 occasionally drops from mobs, scrolls lying around in Goblin Dungeon level 2.

Equipment

Lucky Belts of the Hunter, Soldier and Gladiator can attune random-generated treasure to this skill.
