“Digging crystals out of the ground, and knowing what they do
Geology allows the collection of gems which are used for crafting and the teleportation skill.
In order to raise this skill a player must first obtain the associated Surveying skill from Joeh, and use a Crystal Survey.
Crystal Surveys lead to mostly random gems. You have to make a lot of them to get the gems you need.
Blue surveys are best to get the Amethyst required for teleportation.
