This small bag of sand is somehow different from regular sand. You can't tell exactly how or why it's different, but you know it is.
Magic sand is coveted by crazy prospectors, who claim there's a way to use the sand to reveal vast mineral wealth.

Magic Sand has a few uses other than the obvious recipes. The Sand Seer accepts it along with various other items in return for Flame, Ice, and Shock Nibs (of which the first two can be used to research Fire and Ice Magic recipes, respectively). It may be shown to the Pulsing Crystal in Serbule Crypt to learn more about its history.
How to Obtain
- Disease-Crazed Giant Bats and Striga Veinmasters in Gazluk Keep.
- Rakshasa such as the Drug Chemist may also drop Magic Sand.
- Bonus from motherlode metal surveys.
