Hogan is the owner of Hogan's Keep. Hogan loves staves.

<spoiler> Reportedly, gaining sufficient favor with Hogan lets you in the keep where a few friendly goblins will trade swords and shields. </spoiler>

  • Likes Staves
  • Hogan's Request : get two ancient bronze coins, two giant snail shells (any quality) and a nice piece of poetry (interestingly an Unidentified Poetry Book satisfies the quest requirements).
  • Preventing a Predictable Problem : kill 5 Gnasher Matriarchs. Note: as of writing the maps are not always aligned, so when Hogan says "west", the waterfall is actually east of his castle, on the minimap. Gnashers are dinosaur-like creatures.

Hogan teaches the Staff skill, with high enough favor.
