If you must know, I'm studying soul residue patterns and correlating them to causes of death. Are you a hater of Necromancy? If so, you'll need to speak to Guzor. I'm no longer permitted to... entertain... naysayers. But before you scream about heresy, I will remind you that my work is entirely permitted by, and funded by, the Council directly.
Your parochial concerns should be noted, of course. Guzor can note them for you. And thus your idiot opinion will be remembered for all of posterity. That's what you want, right?

- I've given the wrong impression. I'm a Necromancer too. I see nothing wrong with it!
- What? You? Oh. I apologize. I should have noticed. I hadn't seen you at the school before. If you're here for a lesson, I have bad news. I've had to take a break from teaching. But I'm certain I shall return to my work in time. A few weeks, a few months. Not more than a year at the worst.
- May I ask the reason for the delays?
- No. (She smiles to herself).
- My husband passed not a year ago. He was the school's head Necromancer. While I pride myself on my knowledge, Steven was the superior Necromancer in terms of pure power. When he was slain I was forced to take up his seat at the college, and when I did so, I realized he'd been neglecting important work for years! Work that is... of considerable import to Statehelm.
- I have important work of my own, too. This work simply must take precedence over lessons right now. I know you must be feeling disappointment, but I do not really care. You are not my concern. My concern is getting out from underneath this.
- Perhaps I can help you with this workload?
- (Fransesca considers).
- Will you follow my lead? I could use a skilled Necromancer to assist me, but I fear I can't waste time constantly explaining my reasoning to you.
- Okay, I'll try to keep my questions to a minimum.
- Then I don't see hwy you can't assist me... wait, you are enrolled here, correct? No? I'm sorry. I'm forbidden from using assistants that aren't students. You'll have to become a student first.
