“There's worse things than working on the docks. Like working under the docks. Or on a ship! Ocean's full of pirates and don't you forget it.
“There used to be more loading golems, but they were conscripted for the war effort. Sorry, I mean for the Minor Demonic Incident or whatever it's called.
I've a love-hate relationship with the golems. They take the place of human jobs, but we make 'em do only the most back-breaking work. Seems a fair trade, to an extent.
“I'm getting too old for all this manual labor. I miss the days back when there were more loading golems. I could spend half my time tunin' and fixing them up.
