Giant Rats are common low level enemies in and around the Tutorial Cave for newbie players to both befriend and murder. Even for rodents, these are the weakest of the weak. They are non-aggressive.
Note: There are varying levels of rats in Serbule. Some of them are considerably weaker. Also, they may actually be a weaker level internally but set to give more xp than normal.
