An incredibly rare form of pearl. It can be used in very-high-end jewelrymaking, and alchemists prize it above all other gems. Geologists, for their part, don't even consider it a gem at all.

How to Obtain
Opening large oysters in Sun Vale. Large oysters are located in the reef areas around the island.
According to a loading screen hint, oysters have a much larger chance of containing Black Pearls when they are harvested during a New Moon.
