The shortest ranged attack and the longest CD for a basic attack in the game, it can thankfully be modded for greater range, damage, a conditional stun (five or more DoTs on the target), and a non stacking, self-buffing, acid damage buff.

The only bomb attack that does not require buying the ability nor leveling another skill (up to L50 at least). Can be modded to deal a direct health poison DoT, more direct damage, and receive the generic bomb mods (fire DoT, Healing Mist hasten/heal boost/armor boost, and more damage). As with all bomb attacks, enrages the enemy twice as fast; enemies don't like being sprayed with poison, who knew?

Acid Armor
10 15 Acid Bomb abilities require levels in Fishing to learn and purchase. The most damaging of the Battle Chemist's arsenal, the Acid Bomb deals direct damage to Health and Armor, ignoring the Armor mitigation of enemies. Can be modded to deal a direct health and armor acid DoT, more direct damage, and receive the generic bomb mods (fire DoT, Healing Mist hasten/heal boost/armor boost, and more damage). As with all bomb attacks, enrages the enemy twice as fast; apparently being stabbed, crushed, pierced, frozen, or bitten by death by bugs is fine, but being splashed with acid is "too far"...

A decent heal at all levels, can be modded to become a potent heal rivaling Major Heals with an option for delayed healing as well at the cost of only ever restoring health.

Short Ranged, very potent AoE heal (up to 7 allies) that can reach ridiculous levels of healing with the Bomb mods buffing the health/armor restoration as well as its own dedicated health/armor mods. Can also be modded to hasten the cooldown of Druid's Regrowth, Mentalism's Reconstruct, and Psychology's Pep Talk for you or anyone else. Also visually pleasing!

Fling fungal toxins! Essentially the Spore Bomb ability players will learn from Beginner Island, but doesn't have an ammo cost! Can be modded for a direct health nature DoT, more direct damage, and receive the generic bomb mods (fire DoT, Healing Mist hasten/heal boost/armor boost, and more damage). As with all bomb attacks, enrages the enemy twice as fast; you'd be enraged as well if you had to cure a sudden case of Athlete's Foot, Treat Disease costs add up!

Battle Chemists' emergency button with a LONG cooldown to get out of a sticky situation quickly, the speed buff AND duration increase with ability level. Can be modded to restore Health/Armor/Energy every 2 seconds while under the effects; due to duration increasing with level, the restoration is much more potent at later levels due to more instances of it happening. Speed buff applies to everyone, but restoration only applies to the Battle Chemist.

Counts as a Bomb attack. AoE Slow (appears to be 90%), the longest cooldown, and the only Bomb attack usable underwater. Can be modded for faster cooldown, more damage, intelligent Health/Armor restoration, and receive the generic bomb mods (fire DoT, Healing Mist hasten/heal boost/armor boost, and more damage). As with all bomb attacks, enrages the enemy twice as fast, because nobody likes being in Gazluk, much less getting an instant reminder of what it's like.

Sprint faster out of combat! Kick harder IN combat! Can also be modded to kick even HARDER in combat, be healed by kicking, as well as get some fancy footwork to dodge ranged attacks, avoid slow/roots, ignore knockback, and buff Max Energy. Lasts one hour, only one mutation from ANY SOURCE can be active at a time

Arguably the best defensive buff in the game, Extra Skins provides a large flat Direct Damage mitigation buff with a smaller Indirect Damage mitigation buff. Can be modded to further increase flat mitigation against Direct Slashing, Piercing, Poison, and Acid as well as boosting Max Health and providing a heal every 15 seconds. This buff can make or break a dungeon run at any level. Lasts one hour, only one mutation from ANY SOURCE can be active at a time

The least used of the mutations, but only because of the opportunity cost of not using Extra Toes for damage/speed or Extra Skins for defense. At base, increases the Combat Refresh Energy Restoration by a decent amount. Can be modded for Max Health, % Max Power, Max Power, automatic power restoration every 8 seconds, and a unique L40 only mod that will randomly fix Broken Bones and give -50% Indirect Poison Vulnerability (half damage from poison DoTs). Do note that the "randomly fix Broken Bones" is truly random; it is possible to go the entire hour of the buff with it not fixing anything, or it fixes 20 in 10 minutes. Lasts one hour, only one mutation from ANY SOURCE can be active at a time
